Dory Altmann, MD SM FACC

Location: East Brunswick and Edison

Dr. Altmann holds degrees from Harvard College, the Yale University School of Medicine and the Harvard School of Public Health.  He completed his internship and residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and his cardiology fellowship at Mt.Sinai Hospital in New York, where he won the Department of Medicine Research Award.

After completing a second fellowship in interventional cardiology at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C, Dr. Altmann served as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at New York Hospital - Cornell Medical School. 

Dr. Altmann serves on the Board of Directors of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, chairs its Quality Committee and previously served on its Medical Executive Committee. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has been listed in Castle Connolly Best Doctors, NY Magazine Best Doctors, NJ Monthly Top Doctors, and America’s Best Doctors.
