Simy Joseph, MSN, AGACNP-BC
Simy holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating summa cum laude. She launched her career as a Registered Nurse and later advanced into the role of Nurse Educator. She served as a Professor at the College of Medical Education under Mahatma Gandhi University in India, where she taught Bachelor of Nursing students and helped shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.
After relocating to the United States in 2002, Simy advanced her clinical career at Columbus Hospital and later at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, specializing in the Congestive Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Unit. She has worked extensively in intensive care, telemetry, and step-down units, frequently serving in leadership roles such as Charge Nurse and Preceptor for new graduate nurses. Her clinical expertise includes the advanced management of patients with Left Ventricular Assist Devices and heart transplants. She continued to provide high level cardiac and medical-surgical care at Penn Medicine Princeton Health, where she collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to support patients with both acute and chronic conditions.
In 2022, Simy earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Rowan University in New Jersey and achieved board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. In 2023, she joined RWJBarnabas Health - Cardiology Associates of New Brunswick, where she focuses on the prevention and management of cardiac diseases.
